Harris returns for a third season with the Browns after recording 37 tackles, 1.5 sacks and one forced fumble over 14 games in 2024. He suffered an elbow injury that forced him to miss the final three regular-season games. The Browns entered the offseason with a need to bolster defensive tackle and added veteran Maliek Collins in free agency, and then made a splash at the draft, selecting Mason Graham fifth overall. ANALYSIS
Harris was added to the injury report Thursday with a knee injury and was only able to log a limited practice with the issue. The defensive tackle was thrust into a starting role after Maliek Collins (quadriceps) suffered a season-ending injury against the 49ers in Week 13. The veteran will have one more practice to attempt to dodge an injury designation for Week 15, and if the tackle is unable to suit up, Sam Kamara and Mike Hall will likely see increased rotational snaps on the Browns' defensive line.

Harris joined the Browns late in training camp, and the veteran made the roster to become a rotational player at defensive tackle. He did enough in first season in Cleveland that the organization inked him for another two seasons. Harris enters his age-33 season and should not be viewed as an every-down player, but he plays with energy and brings plenty of experience. He had 1.5 sacks, five passes defensed and forced a fumble while playing about 25 snaps per game last season.
