Shavon Revel

24-Year-Old CornerbackCB
2025 Fantasy Outlook
A third-round selection out of East Carolina in the 2025 Draft, Revel might have been a first-round pick if he hadn't been recovering from a ACL tear suffered last September, which means he'll fit right in with the Cowboys' injury-prone secondary. Revel has the length and speed to be a shutdown cornerback in the NFL, although he will need to improve his technique both as a tackler and in coverage to become elite. He's not guaranteed to be ready to go for Week 1 as a rookie. Read Past Outlooks
Signed a four-year, $6.51 million contract with the Cowboys in May of 2025.

Revel (knee) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegramreports.
ANALYSIS
The rookie third-round pick could make his NFL debut against the Raiders on Monday if he can continue practicing Friday and Saturday. If Revel is suits up for the primetime clash, he could rotate in for snaps alongside Kaiir Elam.

Nearing NFL debut
CBDallas Cowboys
November 11, 2025
Revel is expected to be active in Week 11 against the Raiders, Ed Werder of Channel 8 Dallas reports.
ANALYSIS
Revel is recovering from a torn ACL that he suffered in September of 2024, while he was still in college at East Carolina. He was activated from injured reserve Tuesday after logging a trio of limited practices prior to Dallas' bye. Revel could help shore up a leaky Cowboys' secondary, but it's unclear how much he'll contribute immediately.
