2025 Fantasy Outlook
It may not have registered on the seismic scale when the Packers acquired Willis from the Titans late last August, but the move proved to be a stroke of genius, as he was forced to fill in for an injured Jordan Love shortly thereafter and led Green Bay to two early-season wins. Willis more than held his own in a couple other extended appearances, and when it was all said and done he completed a sterling 74.1 percent of his passes, racked up four scores and turned the ball over only once. Willis again will fill the backup role behind Love in 2025, and while Green Bay will certainly hope to lean on him less, the team shouldn't be too concerned if it has to. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Plays well in relief
Willis completed 30 of 35 passes (85.7 percent) for 422 yards and three touchdowns while logging 22 carries for 123 yards and two scores across four regular-season games (one start) for the Packers in 2025.
ANALYSIS
Willis was thrust into a starting role in Week 17 against the Ravens after Jordan Love suffered a concussion during the Packers' Week 16 overtime loss to the Bears. Willis ended up aggravating a right shoulder injury during the fourth quarter against Baltimore and was replaced by Clayton Tune, and that game ended up being the former's last appearance of the 2025 season. Willis was cast away by the Titans in August of 2024 in favor of Will Levis, but the former has played well in his two years as the Packers' backup behind Love. Willis enters the offseason as an unrestricted free agent, and while his familiarity with the Packers' offense could sway him to stay in Green Bay, the 2022 third-rounder will have the opportunity to explore his options and sign with a team who can provide a clearer path to winning the starting quarterback job.

Willis' potential to be a starting quarterback in the NFL has seemingly come and gone. In addition to drafting Will Levis in 2023, the Titans also added Mason Rudolph as a free agent this offseason. That puts Willis in the position to be inactive as the third quarterback in most games in 2024. In order to stick in the league beyond his rookie contract, he'll need to improve a number of areas in his game, most importantly his accuracy from the pocket.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Starting for Love on Saturday
Willis, who's dealing with a shoulder injury and an illness, will serve as the Packers' starting quarterback in Saturday night's Week 17 matchup against the Ravens due to Jordan Love having been ruled out because of a concussion, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Willis handled emergency duty in the Week 16 overtime loss to the Bears and completed nine of 11 passes for 121 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions while rushing 10 times for 44 yards. Even though Willis suffered an injury to his throwing shoulder on the final play of regulation and also caught an illness that has been spreading through the locker room this week, he's fully expected to be available and handle starting duties versus Baltimore.
