2025 Fantasy Outlook
The 2024 campaign for the 2023 third-round pick out of Wake Forest was a near mirror image of his rookie year: 62 tackles, including 8.0 sacks, four pass defenses, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery as an anchor of a young Rams defense. Turner also has shown his durability at the position, as he's yet to miss a game. With offenses no longer able to key in on him thanks to last year's addition of second-round stud Braden Fiske and veteran nose tackle Poona Ford also in the fold, Turner should continue to produce at a high level in 2025. Turner (back) is considered week-to-week, head coach Sean McVay revealed Thursday, Greg Beachum of The Associated Press reports.
ANALYSIS
Turner's injury will keep him out of Saturday's preseason opener against the Cowboys, and possibly beyond then. He has exactly one month to recover before the Rams kick off regular-season play Sept. 7 against the Texans.

2023
The 2023 third-round pick out of Wake Forest made quite an impression in a stellar rookie campaign, leading the Rams with 9.0 sacks and 57 tackles (29 solo) while working alongside future Hall of Famer Aaron Donald to form a formidable Rams pass rush. Donald retired during the offseason, leaving Turner the leader of a very young defensive line. Only Bobby Brown and Larrell Murchison have any NFL snaps on their belt besides Turner. Expect opposing teams to key in on Turner given the inexperience surrounding him, but the talent he flashed as a rookie will be hard to stifle.
A somewhat surprising pick in the third-round, the Richmond and Wake Forest alum has a similar physical build to Aaron Donald (6-foot-2, 288) and has been a highlight of training camp so far. Greg Gaines and A'Shawn Robinson departing opens up more than 1,000 snaps at defensive tackle, which may allow Turner to immediately step into meaningful snaps as a rookie with incumbent Jonah Williams the primary competition at left defensive end.
