Harold Fannin

21-Year-Old Tight EndTE
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Fannin was drafted in the third round, 67th overall, by the Browns after posting video-game numbers at Bowling Green in 2024. He produced 117 catches for 1,555 yards and 10 touchdowns in 13 games while adding nine rushing attempts for 65 yards and one touchdown for good measure. The 6-foot-3, 241-pound TE is on the small side for his position, so it’s concerning that he ran the 40-yard dash in an unimpressive 4.71 seconds. He has excellent hands and a natural feel for both getting open and wreaking havoc with the ball in his hands, but Fannin will need to prove that he has not only enough blocking acumen to earn a prominent role but also enough athleticism to beat NFL defenders, who will present a massive increase in difficulty compared to the defenses he faced in the Mid-American Conference. Fannin’s unlikely to challenge David Njoku for the starting role right away, but the rookie has plenty of long-term upside and could step up in 2025 if the oft-injured Njoku misses any action. Fannin caught seven of nine targets for 63 yards in Sunday's 17-16 loss to Cincinnati in Week 1. He also had one carry for three yards.
ANALYSIS
Fannin had a drop in the fourth quarter that factored into a drive that stalled on the Bengals' side of the field, but other than that, the rookie tight end built off a strong preseason. The 2025 third-round draft pick had one catch for more than 20 yards and led all Cleveland pass-catchers in targets, including the player starting ahead of him at tight end, David Njoku (six targets). The Browns lack quality target depth, which may prompt defenses to focus on Njoku and Jerry Jeudy. That could lead to Fannin producing more games like Sunday's and becoming a relevant fantasy option.

Strong rookie season ahead?
TECleveland Browns
May 16, 2025
Ben Arthur of Fox Sports believes Fannin has the abilities as a pass catcher to emerge as a star for the Browns in his rookie season.
ANALYSIS
Fannin broke the single-season FBS records for tight ends in receiving yards and catches during his final year at Bowling Green. He was selected by the Browns in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 67th overall, and Arthur believes that Fannin's proficiency in the passing game should translate well to the NFL level. While he's behind David Njoku on the depth chart, Fannin's ability to work out of the slot should allow the tight-end duo to share the field.
