Rest-of-Season Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Oluokun had a down season by his standards in 2024, recording his lowest tackle total since 2019 (108). The easy explanation is that a stint on IR caused by a foot injury cost him four games and cut his stat totals. While of course that is true, there is more to the story. Oluokun was on the field for at least 98 percent of defensive snaps in every game in 2023, but in 2024 his snap rate hovered in the mid 80 percent range - even before the injury. His in 2025 will determine whether he is simply a solid producer, or whether a return to elite levels is in the cards. The difficulty in projecting his workload is that there's an entirely new coaching staff in Jacksonville, so Oluokun could be one of the bigger risers or fallers early in the season. Recovers key fumble in Week 4 win
Oluokun logged seven tackles (two solo), one forced fumble and one fumble recovery during the Jaguars' 26-21 win over the 49ers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Oluokun didn't play every single defensive snap for the first time this season, but he still managed to finish third on the Jaguars in tackles behind Tyson Campbell (nine) and Devin Lloyd (eight). Oluokun played a part on the Jaguars' fourth turnover of the game, when he jumped on a ball that was jarred loose by Lloyd from Brock Purdy late in the fourth quarter, and the Jacksonville offense took care of the rest to seal the game. Oluokun has logged at least six tackles in each of the first four games of the regular season, and his 30 total tackles lead the Jaguars.

2019
Oluokun has established himself as one of the most consistent tacklers in the league and thus one of the safest IDP selections. He's finished with no fewer than 170 tackles in each of the last three years (two of which have come with the Jaguars) and he's topped 1,050 snaps in all three campaigns. He signed a four-year extension this offseason, which includes $22.5 million in guarantees. While there would have been little doubt about his role entering 2024, the monetary commitment will keep him locked in as every snap player. While Oluokun's calling card is his ability to rack up tackles, he has found a way to contribute more explosive plays as well, combining to rack up 4.5 sacks, one interception, three forced fumbles and four fumbles recovered in two seasons with the Jaguars.

Jags make multi-year commitment
The three-year extension Oluokun signed with the Jaguars on Friday has a maximum value of up to $48 million and includes $22.5 million guaranteed, Michael DiRocco and Adam Schefter of ESPN report.
ANALYSIS
Oluokun's deal is a three-year extension with a base value of $45 million. The highly productive linebacker's initial contract with the Jaguars, signed as a free agent before the 2022 season, was also for that amount, and he's earned the additional commitment by leading the NFL in solo tackles in both of his first two seasons in Jacksonville.
