Full practice Wednesday
Forbes (elbow) was a full participant at the Commanders' practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Forbes appears recovered from his UCL injury from earlier this season, as he had a tackle, an interception and pass defensed in the team's 40-7 win over the Panthers in Week 7. The cornerback has seen his playing time fluctuate this season, and he'll look to build off his performance against Carolina when the Commanders host the Bears on Sunday.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Forbes is an unusual cornerback prospect in terms of both size (166 pounds at the 2023 Combine) and collegiate production (14 INTs returned for 390 yards and six TDs in three seasons). Running a 4.35 40 at the combine helped alleviate concerns about the size, and Washington bit with the 16th overall pick in April's draft. Forbes isn't likely to make a ton of tackles but could have value in IDP leagues that slant the scoring more toward takeaways, pass defenses and return touchdowns.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Getting fresh start
Forbes regularly worked with the starters during mandatory minicamp, John Keim of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Forbes had a disappointing rookie season in 2023, as he started only six games due to a combination of poor performance and injury. However, he'll get a fresh start with a new coaching staff, and he worked this offseason to gain more strength, allowing him to better match up with physical receivers within the division such as Philadelphia's A.J. Brown. The Commanders did add Michael Davis this offseason, who could challenge Forbes for a starting job at outside corner.
