25-Year-Old Defensive EndDE
Indianapolis Colts
2024 Fantasy Outlook
Odeyingbo, a 2021 second-round pick, put together career-high numbers across the board in 2023. He's begun to find success as a key rotational pass rusher in Indianapolis' defensive scheme, and in 2024 Odeyingbo's numbers could uptick again if he's able to more consistently handle above 50 percent of defensive snaps. Registers 1.5 sacks vs. Pittsburgh
DEIndianapolis Colts
October 1, 2024
Odeyingbo tallied three tackles (one solo), including 1.5 sacks, during Sunday's 27-24 win over the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
Odeyingbo had a solo sack on quarterback Justin Fields for a four-yard loss late in the second quarter, and the former followed that up with a split sack with Tyquan Lewis (calf) just four plays later. Odeyingbo has logged 50 defensive snaps in each of the last two games, which coincides with Kwity Paye missing time due to a quadriceps injury. Through the first four games of the regular season, Odeyingbo has accumulated nine tackles (five solo), including 2.0 sacks.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2023
2022
Odeyingbo played all 17 games for the Colts in 2022 and started four of them. He is expected begin the 2023 campaign as the starter at right defensive end.
The Colts selected Odeyingbo in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft, 54th overall, despite him suffering a torn Achilles' tendon just a few months before the draft. He returned to play in ten games last season, but just 167 snaps and he had just six tackles. He'll likely be a developmental project this season and the second-round investment looks like a reach at this point.

Plans to play this season
DEIndianapolis Colts
May 7, 2021
Odeyingbo (knee) suggested Friday "the goal is to be back playing this year", Zak Keefer of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Many assumed the Colts' most recent second-round pick would be unable to play his rookie year after tearing his Achilles back in January, but the defensive lineman seemed to indicate that wouldn't be the case. A potent combination of size and speed, Odeyingbo would be an excellent force along the front seven provided he's healthy enough to contribute.
