mousesports are coming off a loss to Complexity, while BIG got the better of MAD Lions in their first match of the tournament. This mousesports team has looked incredibly shaky for a while now, and it is quite evident that they are in a bit of a slump. They really struggled to keep their economy in check versus Complexity, and if it wasn't for some heroics by ropz, this could have been an even bigger blowout. BIG have made a habit out of banning Train since they picked up k1to and syrsoN, and with this being a strong map for mousesports, this gives them a bit of an edge in the map pool. It is likely that mousesports will opt for Nuke or Dust2, leaving BIG with the option of taking advantage of mousesports' weakness on Mirage or Inferno if they want.
If mousesports want to rebound with a win against BIG, it is likely that ropz will play a big part in doing so. As mentioned, he had many impactful rounds for mousesports in their loss to Complexity, and he excels on most of the maps that we are likely to see in this one. On the side of BIG, tabseN stands out as a solid value play at just $6,000. The German powerhouse had a really solid showing in their win against MAD Lions, posting 64 kills, 22 deaths with a K/D differential of plus-15, and he will be worth pairing up with either syrsoN or XANTARES if you are looking to target the BIG upset — which honestly does not seem outside of the realms of possibilities considering the map pools of these two respective teams.

MAD Lions (0–1) vs. Complexity (1–0)
The bookmakers have this matchup between MAD Lions and Complexity as a pick 'em. The first thing that stands out with the pricing on DraftKings is that acoR is $6,400, which is honestly too low for a player of his caliber. He has bizarrely struggled a lot on Dust2, which does hurt his value a bit with this being a possible map choice for Complexity, but he makes up for it with great numbers on maps like Mirage and Nuke. Bubzkji has the highest upside on this team, especially if we see skill-heavy maps like Dust2 and Mirage, where he has posted some crazy numbers in wins against c0ntact and FunPlus Phoenix.
On Complexity, it was k0nfig who shone the brightest in their upset win against mousesports, posting 40 kills, 13 assists with a K/D differential of plus-14 across two maps, and he makes for a solid pick alongside blameF and poizon.

Liquid (0–2) vs. MiBR (1–1)
Liquid are coming off a loss to FURIA, a team they have struggled with immensely this year. The North American side are currently sitting on zero points in the group, and this is now a must-win game against MiBR. Liquid have had an easy time against MiBR historically, and they have swept the Brazilian side in all three meetings this year. Inferno and Dust2 have been the most common maps in this matchup, and it is EliGE and Twistzz who have performed the best across the two maps this year.
Liquid definitely have the edge in this matchup, but if you want to target MiBR, fer stands out at $7,000. He had an excellent performance in their 2–0 trashing of Chaos, and both Inferno and Dust2 are quite strong maps for him. Even if MiBR were to opt for a map like Overpass like they did in ESL Pro League earlier in the year, fer has the potential to put up numbers.
