2025 Fantasy Outlook
Finn joins the RedHawks for his fifth collegiate season, and he's taken an interesting route to the starting spot for the squad. The 6-foot-2 quarterback started out his FBS career at Toledo, logging three seasons as the starter and getting 2023 MAC MVP honors. He then transferred to Baylor ahead of the 2024 season, starting the first three games of the season and throwing for 307 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions and rushing for two touchdowns before going down with an undisclosed season-ending injury. He'll now rejoin the MAC conference with Miami-Ohio as the starter of the conference runner-ups. The veteran has shown that he can succeed well in this conference, and he has all the skills to do so. He'll just have to make it click with an unproven squad that is coming off a heater of a season. Finn is more than capable as a passer and rusher; he'll just have to retune his abilities to the MAC style of play after two seasons in the Big 12 at Baylor, but there's a ton of upside to his game, evidenced by his three massive seasons during his time at Toledo. Stymied in opener
Finn completed 9 of 18 passes for 83 yards and two interceptions during Thursday's 17-0 loss against Wisconsin. He also had 12 rushes for 13 yards.
ANALYSIS
Finn and the RedHawks' offense ended up being no match for a Big 10 defense even with a somewhat lacking Wisconsin performance. The 6-foot-2 quarterback was shut down as a passer with just 50 percent of his throws being completed and two being snagged by the opposing team. Wisconsin's defense also hindered any running upside as he averaged barely over one yard per carry. Finn should have more success next week against a Rutgers squad that barely beat Ohio (34-31) on Thursday and gave up 332 total yards and four total touchdowns to quarterback Parker Navarro alone.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2023
2022
Finn's dual-threat abilities under center have been on full display each of the last two seasons with the Rockets, topping 500 rushing yards in each (600 last season) and scoring nine touchdowns apiece. There's little reason to anticipate a major deviation from a game plan that led Toledo to a MAC championship last season, Jerjuan Newton and Devin Maddox return to head the team's receiving corps again in 2023, and Jacquez Stuart, Micah Kelly and Peny Boone all return to flank Finn in the backfield. Finn's 7.2 yards per attempt paled in comparison to the 8.3 mark the previous season, so even a slight improvement in that area could provide sizable gains through the air.
