2025 Receiving Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Anderson led all LSU receivers a year ago with 61 catches and 884 yards. Since then, LSU has lost its next three top options in Kyren Lacy, Mason Taylor and CJ Daniels. The Tigers have tried to fill the loss of production by bringing in transfers Nic Anderson and Barion Brown. (Nic) Anderson missed almost all of the 2024 season due to injury but put up over 700 yards in 2023. Brown, on the other hand, has shown flashes of talent; however, his best season was in 2022, when he put up 629 yards receiving. Chris Hilton Jr. also displayed some promise prior to the 2024 campaign and figures to be a factor in 2025 if he can stay healthy, and Zavion Thomas also returns and will take aim at a larger role. With lots of unknowns in the receiver group, Anderson is the one known commodity, and he seems poised to get a lot of volume in a pass-heavy offense led by Garrett Nussmeier, who is projected to be one of the best quarterbacks in college football.
