The 2025-26 NCAA Men's College Basketball regular season rolls on Saturday, and the pickings are actually pretty slim. The Providence Friars and Penn State Nittany Lions battle at 4 p.m. ET at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., which is technically a neutral-site battle. That game can be viewed on truTV. And, at 8 p.m. ET, the Northern Colorado Bears and Portland Pilots meet at the Chiles Center in Portland on ESPN+.

We're here to help provide a trio of picks on select days throughout the week, hopefully helping you get into the black, as we head into the holidays and the new year. It's never too early to start squirreling away money for March Madness.

College Basketball PrizePicks Picks & Strategy

If you're unfamiliar with how to play, you must simply choose at least two players from any sport and pick more or less based on their projected statistics to win. We'll obviously be exclusively selecting college hoops players, but you can mix and match from various other sports. You can also go with a flex play, meaning you still can have a winning night even if you have one losing selection. Or, you can go big and choose the power play, which pays out higher. However, you must hit all ends to win. Let's get started.

Kayden Mingo, F, Penn State

OK, we'll start off with a 3-pointer prop. Mingo is a 'demon' play, and, as PrizePicks explains, they're a little wild, and harder to win. However, if it hits, you increase your payout.

Mingo has hit at least one 3-pointer in three of his past four games, including a pair of triples in a game at New Haven on Nov. 8. He has been a fabulous scorer, and he might be feeling it after dropping a career-high 24 points against Harvard on Wednesday.

In addition, he might be implored to attempt a few more 3-pointers against a Providence defense allowing the opposition to hit 36.6 percent from behind the arc, which ranks 307th in the country. If you're not feeling the 3-pointer play for a higher payout, rolling with Mingo Over 25.5 Pts+Rebs+Assists (PRA) isn't a bad option at a regular price, too.

CBB PrizePicks Selection: Kayden Mingo, Over 1.5 3-Pointers

Melih Tunca, G, Penn State

Sometimes, before even seeing what PrizePicks, or any other similar game offers, I like to set my own 'lines'. I look at recent performances, usage, stats, etc. and project my own lines. Often times, they're very to what is offered, but sometimes they're way off.

For Tunca, the 6-foot-5 freshman from Turkey, he is averaging 14.4 points (PPG), 4.2 assists (APG) and 2.4 rebounds (RPG). I was expecting to see his projections quite a bit higher, but it is surprisingly low. Take advantage.

Again, we mentioned how poor Providence is against the 3-pointer. In the early going, the Friars aren't doing a lot right, conceding 86.0 PPG, 43.9 percent from the field and that ugly 3-pointer defense mentioned above. Let's go high on Tunca against the leaky Friars D.

CBB PrizePicks Selection: Melih Tunca, Over 16.5 Pts+Asts

Joel Foxwell, G, Portland

Foxwell is our first repeat player of the season, and he actually burned us the first time. In Portland's 93-56 beatdown from Wyoming, Foxwell managed just nine points, three boards and two dimes across 27 minutes.

Foxwell is still averaging 17.2 PPG, 4.8 APG and 4.6 RPG across five games this season, and he is hitting a respectable 50.9 percent from the field, and he had 11 3-pointers across the past three outings, including five apiece in victory over UC Davis on Nov. 9, and against Cal State Fullerton last time out on Friday.

Northern Colorado has been hemorrhaging points, allowing 92.0 PPG, while teams are hitting 42.2 percent against it from the field. Foxwell should jack up plenty of shots, filling up the stat sheet for the homestanding Pilots.

CBB PrizePicks Selection: Joel Foxwell, Over 22.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts
