Nuggets Top Heat, 109-94
The Denver Nuggets defeated the Miami Heat, 109-94, at Kaseya Center on Wednesday night in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. The Nuggets lead the series, 2-1.

The Nuggets (2-1) and Heat (1-2) appeared destined for another razor-thin, wire-to-wire battle through the first 12 minutes, which culminated in a 24-24 tie. However, Denver began to pull away before halftime to take a five-point advantage into intermission, and they changed the dynamic of the game for good in the third by outscoring Miami, 29-20. The hosts would get no closer than nine points during the final period, setting up a convincing road victory for the visitors.

Jamal Murray led the Nuggets with a 34-point, 10-rebound, 10-assist triple-double that included one steal. Nikola Jokic furnished a 32-point, 21-rebound, 10-assist triple-double that included two blocks, becoming the first player in Finals history to produced a 30-20-10 tally. Christian Braun delivered 15 points, four boards, one assist and one steal. Aaron Gordon generated an 11-point, 10-rebound double-double that included five assists and one steal.

Jimmy Butler paced the Heat with 28 points, supplementing them with four assists, two rebounds and one block.
