Lakers Rout Grizzlies, 125-85
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Memphis Grizzlies, 125-85, at Crypto.com Arena on Friday night in Game 6 of their Western Conference quarterfinal-round series. The Lakers win the series, 4-2.

The Lakers (4-2) had missed their opportunity to close out the Grizzlies (2-4) at FedEx Forum in Game 5, but early on Friday there were signs Los Angeles wouldn't be denied a second time. L.A. jumped out to a 31-20 lead through one, and that advantage was up to 17 by halftime. The hosts then snuffed out any hopes of a comeback during a prolific third quarter where they scored 41 points and extended their edge to 33 points, making the final period a formality.

Santi Aldama led the Grizzlies with 16 points, adding five rebounds. Desmond Bane furnished 15 points, five boards, two assists and one steal. Jaren Jackson delivered 14 points, four rebounds, one assist and one steal. Ja Morant supplied 10 points, six assists, five rebounds and three steals. Dillon Brooks matched Morant's scoring and also pitched in four boards and two assists.

D'Angelo Russell paced the Lakers with 31 points, supplementing them with four assists, two rebounds, one steal and one block. LeBron James posted 22 points, six assists, five rebounds and one steal. Anthony Davis generated a 16-point, 14-rebound double-double that included one assist and five blocks. Austin Reaves turned in 11 points, eight assists, six rebounds and two blocks.

The Grizzlies' season has come to an end, while the Lakers move on to meet the winner of the Warriors-Kings series, which holds its Game 7 on Sunday at Golden 1 Center.
