Warriors Hold On In Utah
The Golden State Warriors defeated the host Utah Jazz, 140-137, at Delta Center on Thursday evening.

The game got out to a high-scoring start as the Jazz led, 39-36, after one quarter. The Warriors turned it up a notch in the second and outscored the hosts, 48-32, to claim a 13-point lead at the break. The pace remained at a high in the third, where the visitors stayed in control on their way to a, 120-102, lead going into the final frame. The Jazz put up an impressive fight in the fourth, but the Warriors managed to hold on to the edge and close out their eighth win in the last 10 games. This also marks the fourth straight loss for the Jazz.

Klay Thompson led the Warriors with 35 points, six rebounds and two assists, in 28 minutes off the bench. Draymond Green followed up with 23 points, five rebounds, five assists, four steals and two blocks, while Stephen Curry totaled 16 points, two rebounds, 10 assists and a steal.

Meanwhile, Collin Sexton led the Jazz with 35 points, three rebounds, nine assists, a steal and a block, in 34 minutes. Keyonte George totaled 33 points, two rebounds, six assists and three steals, while Lauri Markkanen racked up 20 points, 14 rebounds and three assists.

The Jazz (26-30) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Hornets in their return to action after the all-star break. The Warriors (27-26) play host to the Lakers in their first game back from the break.
