Lakers Defeat Magic, 106-103
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the visiting Orlando Magic, 106-103, at Crypto.com Arena on Monday.

There were 10 ties and 13 lead changes in this game, with neither team leading by more than 11 points. Orlando actually led 100-96 with three minutes remaining, but Los Angeles finished on a 10-3 run to grab a comeback win. The Lakers shot 53 percent from the field while holding the Magic to 40 percent shooting. LA had 10 blocks, while Orlando had just three, outscoring them in the paint, 54-44.

The Magic (2-1) were led by Gary Harris, providing 17 points, three rebounds and three assists off the bench. Franz Wagner led the starters with 16 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals. Jalen Suggs amassed 15 points, eight rebounds and two assists, while Markelle Fultz finished with 14 points, four rebounds, eight assists and two blocks.

The Lakers (2-2) were led by D'Angelo Russell, collecting 28 points, two rebounds and eight assists. Anthony Davis tallied 26 points, 19 rebounds, five assists and three blocks. LeBron James provided 19 points, three rebounds, four assists and three steals, while Austin Reaves accrued 11 points, three rebounds and three assists.

Orlando has to play the second half of a back-to-back set on Tuesday, facing the Los Angeles Clippers on the road. As for the Lakers, they return to action on Wednesday against the Clippers as well.
