Jazz Too Much For Hornets
The Utah Jazz defeated the host Charlotte Hornets, 134-122, at Spectrum Center on Saturday evening.

The Jazz jumped out to a great start with a, 47-24, lead after one quarter. They stayed in control through the second and pushed their lead up to a whopping 35 points by halftime. The Hornets came alive in the third and outscored the visitors, 41-23, to bring it back to a 17-point game entering the final quarter. The hosts kept up the fight in the fourth, but the Jazz held on to secure their second consecutive win. This also marks the third straight loss for the Hornets.

Lauri Markkanen led the Jazz with 33 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and a steal, in 36 minutes of action. Collin Sexton followed up with 24 points, four rebounds, 13 assists and two steals, while John Collins added 20 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks.

Meanwhile, P.J. Washington led the Hornets with 43 points, two rebounds, three assists and two steals, in 36 minutes off the bench. Nick Richards followed up with 26 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks, while Miles Bridges added 21 points, nine rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks.

The Hornets (10-34) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Knicks on Monday. The Jazz (24-23) take on the Nets in Brooklyn on Monday.
