Hawks Edge Raptors, 126-125
The Atlanta Hawks defeated the Toronto Raptors, 126-125, at State Farm Arena on Sunday evening.

The Hawks (19-27) opened the game in impressive fashion on both ends of the floor, leading to a 34-26 advantage through one. However, the Raptors (16-30) were able to bounce back in the second quarter, eliminating their deficit altogether and building a four-point lead halftime lead. The back-and-forth affair continued in the third with Atlanta regaining a two-point edge, and after a hotly contested final period, the hosts escaped with the win when Saddiq Bey dunked in the final points off a Trae Young miss with just over a second remaining.

Scottie Barnes and Jordan Nwora co-led the Raptors with 24 points, with Barnes adding eight assists, four rebounds and two blocks and Nwora posting nine boards, six assists and one steal. Gary Trent netted 16 points. Gradey Dick furnished 15 points, five rebounds, three assists and one steal. Dennis Schroder supplied 14 points, six assists, three rebounds and four steals. Jontay Porter delivered 12 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals. Bruce Brown registered 11 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block.

Young paced the Hawks with 30 points, complementing them with 12 assists, two rebounds and two steals. Bey generated a 26-point, 13-rebound double-double that included three assists. Bogdan Bogdanovic managed 24 points, four rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks. Clint Capela produced a 19-point, 14-rebound double-double that included one block. Jalen Johnson turned in 17 points, 12 rebounds, five assists and two assists.

The Raptors remain on the road and visit the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night, while the Hawks remain home and welcome in the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night as well.
