Lakers Defeat Warriors in Game 1, 117-112
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the host Golden State Warriors, 117-112, in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semi-Finals at Chase Center on Tuesday.

Los Angeles leads this series 1-0. They'll play Game 2 on Thursday back in Golden State.

There were 14 ties and 17 lead changes through the opening 30 minutes of this game, but Los Angeles never relinquished the lead after that. They actually grabbed a game-high 14-point lead with six minutes left, but Golden State responded with a 14-0 run to tie the game at 112-112 with 96 seconds left. The Lakers scored the final five points over the final 84 seconds to prevail. LA shot 47 percent from the field while holding Golden State below 41 percent shooting. The Lakers shot 25-of-29 from the free-throw line, while the Warriors shot 5-of-6. They also outscored them in the paint, 54-28, while out-blocking them, 10-3.

The Lakers (1-0) were led by Anthony Davis, collecting 30 points, 23 rebounds, five assists and four blocks. Lebron James tallied 22 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and three blocks. D'Angelo Russell registered 19 points, three rebounds and six assists. Dennis Schroder led the bench with 19 points, two rebounds and three assists.

The Warriors (0-1) were led by Stephen Curry, finishing with 27 points, six rebounds and three assists. Klay Thompson totaled 25 points, three rebounds and four assists. Andrew Wiggins amassed 15 points and six rebounds, while Kevon Looney had 10 points, 23 rebounds and five assists. Jordan Poole led the bench with 21 points and six assists.
