Sixers Top Pacers In Overtime
The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Indiana Pacers, 129-126, at Wells Fargo on Wednesday.

The 76ers (23-14) and the Pacers (21-18) played a tight game and needed five extra minutes to find a winner in overtime, but in the end, the Sixers pulled away with the victory. The Pacers enjoyed a strong start and led in the first quarter by a 28-27 score, but the Sixers responded with a 39-33 score in the second quarter. A 31-23 score in the third quarter boosted Philly’s third quarter to double digits, and it seemed they’d run away with the win with ease. However, the Pacers came out of nowhere to secure the comeback after a 36-23 score in the final 12 minutes of action. The Sixers tightened the grip in the final minutes, though, and they outscored their rivals by a 9-6 score in overtime, and that was enough to get the victory. With the win, the Sixers improved to 16-5 at home while the Pacers fell to 8-11 on the road.

James Harden notched 26 points, eight assists and six rebounds to lead the Sixers in the win in absence of Joel Embiid, while Tobias Harris had a strong game of 19 points and 10 rebounds while adding three assists. De’Anthony Melton finished with 19 points and seven rebounds, and Tyrese Maxey finished with 17 points, six dimes and five boards. Montrezl Harrell ended with 19 points, five boards and four blocks, while Shake Milton ended with 13 points, four assists and three rebounds.

Buddy Hield ended with 24 points, nine rebounds and six assists, while Myles Turner ended with 14 points, eight rebounds and five blocks. Tyrese Haliburton notched 16 points and 12 assists to go along with seven rebounds, and Andrew Nembhard finished with 12 points and four rebounds. Bennedict Mathurin had 19 points and four boards off the bench, and Jalen Smith posted 17 points and three rebounds.
