Raptors Secure Key Win Over Hornets
The Toronto Raptors defeated the Charlotte Hornets, 128-108, at Spectrum Center on Sunday afternoon.

The Raptors (39-39) moved to .500 with a solid win over the Hornets (26-53) on the road, and this result allowed them to move closer to a spot in the Play-in Tournament. The Raptors looked dominant in the first quarter and quickly raced out to a 10-point lead in the first quarter after a 35-25 score. Toronto bolstered its advantage and made it a 15-point game following a 32-27 score in the second quarter. Even though Charlotte won the third quarter by a 37-34 score, it was not enough to mount a potential comeback. Toronto closed things out with a 27-19 score and closed things out with an easy 20-point win. The Raptors moved to 13-25 on the road while the Hornets fell to 13-26 at home.

Pascal Siakam led the way for the Raptors with 36 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. O.G. Anunoby delivered 23 points and seven boards. Fred VanVleet looked impressive with 20 assists and 20 points. Jakob Poeltl recorded 16 points, nine rebounds, four blocks and three assists. Scottie Barnes posted 12 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals. Toronto shot 53.8 percent from the field.

Svi Mikhailiuk recorded 26 points, five rebounds and four assists to lead the Hornets. Mark Williams posted a 15-point, 12-rebound double-double. Theo Maledon dished out 14 assists while adding eight points and eight rebounds. Bryce McGowens posted 11 points, two rebounds and two assists. James Bouknight had 21 points across 25 minutes off the bench. Charlotte shot 49.4 percent from the field.
