Rockets - at Nuggets, at Pelicans, at Nuggets, at Kings

The Rockets are one of three teams with four games on the week, but the advantage that may normally come with a couple of extra games is hindered by the fact that two come against the Nuggets, who are relatively solid on the defensive end. However, the Nuggets do give up the league's second-most points, sixth-most three-pointers and second-most free throws per game to opposing small forwards, which makes it a great environment for Kevin Durant to step up and lead the way. The Rockets' second game of the week comes against the Pelicans, who are giving up the league's third-most points, second-most three-pointers and seventh-most points in the paint per game, leaving room for guys like Reed Sheppard, Aaron Holiday and Steven Adams to shine. The Rockets close the week against the Kings, who are struggling on the defensive side, giving up the league's fourth-most points, highest field-goal percentage, most points in the paint and fifth-most rebounds per game.

Heat - vs. Raptors, at Nets, at Celtics, at Knicks

The Heat face a four-game week, beginning against the Raptors, who are doing well defensively but are also giving up the league's sixth-most free throws per game. Additionally, they are giving up the league's eighth-most points per game to opposing power forwards, which signifies a good opportunity for Andrew Wiggins, and Jaime Jaquez to stand out. Moving on, the Heat clash with three teams that are showing a particular weakness guarding the long ball, as the Nets are giving up the league's third-highest field-goal percentage and fourth-highest three-point shooting percentage, the Celtics are giving up the eighth-highest three-point shooting percentage, and the Knicks are giving up the sixth-most three-pointers per game. This stretch favors the Heat's talented wing shooters, Tyler Herro and Norman Powell, but Bam Adebayo, who is knocking down a career-high 1.7 threes per game, should also benefit.

Raptors - at Heat, at Bucks, vs. Celtics, at Nets

The Raptors begin their four-game week against the Heat, who are giving up the league's ninth-most three-pointers and second-most rebounds and offensive rebounds per game. Scottie Barnes and Brandon Ingram should prosper in the matchup, as they both do a good job of scoring from multiple levels and contributing on the glass. Looking ahead, the Raptors take on the Bucks, who are giving up the league's fifth-most free throws per game, providing an ideal chance for guards Immanuel Quickley and Jamal Shead to benefit from a few extra trips to the line after strong drives to the basket. Up next, a meeting with the Celtics, who are giving up the league's seventh-most offensive rebounds per game, followed by a clash with the Nets, who are giving up the league's sixth-most points in the paint. Both matchups favor the Raptors' length and quickness, as extra possessions and high-percentage opportunities will be available with the right amount of hustle. As a result, Collin Murray-Boyles and Ochai Agbaji should do well, especially if RJ Barrett is still sidelined.

Hawks at Hornets, vs. Spurs, vs. Bulls

The Hawks have just three games on the week, but two of their opponents are among the top seven in the league in terms of points conceded per game. They kick things off against the Hornets, who are giving up the league's seventh-most points and fourth-highest field-goal percentage, including the second-highest three-point shooting percentage and fourth-most points in the paint per game. This should be a great opportunity for Onyeka Okongwu and Jalen Johnson to step up, while Nickeil Alexander-Walker should stay hot from downtown. Up next, they clash with the Spurs, who are certainly a formidable opponent but are also giving up the league's sixth-highest three-point shooting percentage, an area where Luke Kennard could emerge as an x-factor. Finally, the Hawks take on the Bulls, who are giving up the league's fifth-most points, including the third-most points in the paint, along with the sixth-most rebounds per game. This is another ideal chance for the Hawks' frontcourt to shine, including Zaccharie Risacher, who could boost his stats at the foul line and on the glass.

Spurs - vs. Wizards, at Hawks, at Wizards

The Spurs face a three-game week, including two meetings with the Wizards, who are giving up the league's most points, third-most three-pointers and eighth-highest field-goal percentage per game. The Spurs' wealth of backcourt and wing talent, including Dylan Harper, Julian Champagnie, and Keldon Johnson, should thrive in the matchups, especially with the added benefit of Victor Wembanyama back in the lineup to divert the defense's attention. The Wizards also give up the league's fifth-most points in the paint and the most rebounds, including the most offensive rebounds per game, which means Wembanyama and Luke Kornet are likely to flourish through the two encounters. Moreover, the Spurs face the Hawks for their second game of the week, a team that is giving up the league's fourth-most offensive rebounds per game, along with the fifth-most rebounds to opposing power forwards, leaving room for Harrison Barnes to boost his production by attacking the glass and taking advantage of opportune moments while the defense is preoccupied with the flashier talent on the floor.
