There are only four games on the night slate, making the options at pitcher slim. That being the case, all lineups will be able to spend a little more on batting. I decided to base my squad around the best outfielder in the game against a pitcher with a plus-five ERA.
PITCHER
Julio Teheran, ATL at SD ($38): Teheran is the highest-priced pitcher of the night, yet still under 40 bucks. He's the safest way to go even though he hasn't pitched well as of late. He's reached 28 fantasy points four different times and the Padres remain one of the worst in the league against righties with a 24.3 K%, .119 ISO and .280 wOBA over the last month.
Domingo German, NYY at DET ($34): I considered Nick Tropeano ($35), but his upside is much less due to lack of strikeouts. German pitched well in starts against the Astros and Indians and has reached six strikeouts in three of his last four. The Tigers haven't been an easy team to bet against, although their .131 ISO and .303 wOBA against righties since May 1 are still below average.

CATCHER
Kurt Suzuki, ATL at SD ($12): Since joining the Braves, Suzuki has provided a valuable fantasy bat, especially against southpaws. He has three homers against them in 37 at-bats, which comes a year after seven homers and a .431 ISO in 58 at-bats. Clayton Richard is pitching well, yet still has allowed nine homers to righties, in line with last season's 23 allowed and 4.33 xFIP.
FIRST BASE
Paul Goldschmidt, ARI at SF ($16): As long as Goldschmidt is less than $20 and against a lefty, he should be in most lineups. He has 10 extra-base hits (6 HR) in 55 at-bats against lefties after 10 homers and a .280 ISO last season. Derek Holland isn't getting shelled every game, but failed to record a strikeout last start. He also has a high 1.76 HR/9 against righty bats after tossing a 5.97 xFIP in 2017.
SECOND BASE
Gleyber Torres, NYY at DET ($21): The price is high, but it's worth rolling with Torres in hopes his power returns. He still has a solid .357 BABIP and 10 homers in 87 at-bats against righty arms. Mike Fiers has never been an elite pitcher with poor numbers across the board from a lower 15.3 K% to a .333 wOBA against righties, a year after he had a .360 wOBA.
THIRD BASE
Miguel Andujar, NYY at DET ($15): This is another righty-righty matchup that can thrive due to Fiers's struggles against both sides of the plate. He has a bad 15.3 K% and already gave up five runs to the Yanks back in April. Andujar is roasting righties with a .378 BABIP and 19 extra-base hits (5 HR) in only 130 at-bats.
SHORTSTOP
Nick Ahmed, ARI at SF ($8): Ahmed is a steal given his numbers against lefty arms with nine extra-base hits (4 HR) in 58 at-bats. Those are solid numbers for his price to go with a career .333 wOBA, which is much better than his number against righties (.242). Holland has given up four runs in two of his last three starts and has given up multiple runs in all but one outing.
OUTFIELD
Mike Trout, LAA vs. KC ($27): If there were ever a day to use Trout because of cheap pitching, this is probably it, as long as his knee is good to go. Trout has better numbers against lefties, but it's hard to ignore his 15 homers against righty hurlers, a year after having a stout .359 ISO. Danny Duffy has a miserable 2.32 HR/9 against righties, making this a prime spot for Trout to attack.
Jon Jay, KC at LAA ($16): Jay doesn't provide much power, but his consistency is the selling point with a .354 BABIP against righties. Nick Tropeano carved the Royals in his first start of the season, but that was almost two months ago and he's had few positives since. His numbers are mediocre against lefty bats with a career 4.81 xFIP and his K rate has slid to 20.4% this year.
Jarrod Dyson, ARI at SF ($7): If you're looking to save money, Dyson is worth a shot. His .318 BABIP against lefties is at least passable compared to against righties (.205). Holland has better overall numbers against lefty bats, although still had a troublesome 5.15 xFIP against them last year.
