Previous: 1-1, -0.13 RWBucks
Season: 98-108-8, -21.50 RWBucks
After splitting my two picks for the ALCS Game 6, I'll try to run the table with a pair of big wagers for another potential decisive game in the NLCS on Saturday night.
Dodgers at Braves, NLCS Game 6
Starting Pitchers: Walker Buehler vs. Ian Anderson
The Pick: Braves over 1.5 runs in first 5 innings (-125 on DraftKings Sportsbook) for 5 RWBucks
Secondary Pick: Braves moneyline in first 7 innings (+120 on DraftKings Sportsbook) for 3 RWBucks
Buehler will take the mound on short rest after throwing 76 pitches in Tuesday's Game 3, an outing in which he allowed four runs (two earned) in just 3.2 innings to Atlanta. The right-hander could therefore be set for a relatively short outing, especially if the Braves bats are buoyed by being back in front of the home crowd and especially motivated to quash thoughts of a second consecutive NLCS collapse against the Dodgers. Atlanta certainly has the bats to give me confidence to put up at least two runs in the first five innings, and given Anderson is pitching on a solid five days' rest and has been effective this postseason, a smaller wager on a lead after seven seems worthy of consideration at plus money.
