Previous: 0-4, -4.00 RWBucks
Season: 97-107-8, -21.37 RWBucks
After a miserable Wednesday showing in this topsy-turvy postseason, I'll try to bounce back with two wagers involving tonight's potential series-ending Game 6 ALCS clash.
Red Sox at Astros ALCS Game 6
Starting Pitchers: Nathan Eovaldi vs. Luis Garcia
The Pick: Astros moneyline – first 7 innings (-115 on DraftKings Sportsbook) for 1 RWBuck
Secondary Pick: Over 6.5 Total Runs - first 7 innings (-135 on DraftKings Sportsbook) for 1 RWBuck
Both Eovaldi and Garcia have been hit hard in this series, and in the latter's case, the postseason as a whole. While both starters could certainly work considerably abbreviated outings here, Houston's bullpen should also have a rest advantage on Boston's considering how the last two games of the series have unfolded. Eovaldi could also well be dealing with a bit of a fatigued arm after throwing 24 pitches in his Game 4 relief appearance Tuesday. As such, I'm in the camp of both Houston having a lead through seven frames and a decent amount of runs being piled up by both squads over that same span in a game that both team's offenses should have even more juice for than usual, considering the stakes.
