Burn suffered a fractured rib and damaged his lung and will miss four to six weeks, coach Eddie Howe confirmed in the press conference. "It was a big blow for us because I think he's been excellent in recent weeks. It's a rib problem and an issue with his lungs so we wish him well and it will be around four to six weeks out."

Burn was forced off in the 41st minute of Sunday's match against Sunderland due to a rib injury and has been taken to the hospital, according to Keith Downie of Sky Sports.
