Bischof has signed a contract with Bayern Munich until 2029 and will join the club on a free transfer from Hoffenheim this summer, the club announced. Bayern's sporting director Christoph Freund commented, "Tom Bischof is one of the biggest German talents, who's also attracted international interest. At just 19, he's already gained significant experience in professional football, both in the Bundesliga and in the DFB Cup and Europa League. Tom is an ideal fit for our philosophy as a technically gifted midfielder. We're pleased he's chosen to continue his development at FC Bayern. He has all the qualities to establish himself at the highest level."
ANALYSIS
Bischof has been part of Hoffenheim's youth system since the age of six, joining the Bundesliga club's academy at 10. He progressed through the youth ranks and made his Bundesliga debut in March 2022 at 16-years-old. With 53 first-team appearances across all competitions, he has scored two goals and provided five assists. He will join Bayern in the summer, aiming to continue his development as one of Germany's top prospects.
