He benefited from a strong defensive unit in front of him, helping Real Madrid finish among the league's best in goals allowed, which isn't too surprising. After reworking parts of their back line over their summer for new manager Xabi Alonso, Courtois could be set for an improved 2025/26 season with 10-plus clean sheets almost a lock for this group.
