Out at least six weeks
F/MBenfica
OUT
January 15, 2025
Sanches is out for at least the next six weeks due to a thigh injury, according to manager Bruno Lage, per Nuno Reis of A Bola.
ANALYSIS
Sanches is facing yet another absence, as the attacker will be sidelined for around a month and a half to two months due to a muscle injury in his thigh. This is a brutal run for the midfielder, already missing four of the club's five UCL matches thus far. This will likely leave him out for their final two league stage matches, hopeful the club can continue in the round of 16 playoffs and he can return to the field in UCL play again this campaign.
