Odegaard could miss multiple weeks after undergoing an MRI, according to the Norway team doctor. "Such ankle injuries often take at least three weeks. Anything other than that is just a bonus. And then it can take longer. What we have so far obtained from the MRI examination in London is that there is probably no fracture in the ankle."

Odegaard was confirmed to have been taken off the field Monday due to an ankle sprain, according to his national team's doctor, per ESPN. "Martin is doing quite well now. He got a small ankle sprain. We will see throughout the evening and tomorrow what happens next and what we will do about it. Ankle sprains are difficult to deal with straight away, so we almost have to see how things go forward."

Odegaard came off with an apparent injury during Monday's clash with Austria.

Odegaard has yet to register a goal or an assist in the first three matches of the 2024/25 Premier League campaign.

Odegaard assisted twice to go with two shots (one on goal), 10 crosses (three accurate) and five corners in Sunday's 2-1 win over Everton.
