Herrando (knee) is in the starting XI for Saturday's match against Girona.

Herrando (knee) has been diagnosed with a meniscal injury in his leg joint that downgraded him to training individually Thursday, but did get the call for Saturday's trip to Girona, per manager Jagoba Arrasate. "We were very scared because the action is very... very ugly and well... during the week he had some discomfort but well... Today he was able to train and in principle he has good feelings and, if he maintains the good feelings, it is normal."

Herrando is set to undergo tests after he was involved in an ugly tackle near the end of Monday's tilt against Alaves, as manager Jagoba Arrasate stated, "Jorge has had a very ugly action too and we are going to see," per Diego Eusa of Diario de Noticias de Navarra.

Herrando had two tackles (one won), four clearances and one interception in Saturday's 2-0 victory over Cadiz.

Herrando has signed a four-year contract extension with Osasuna, the club announced Wednesday.
