Isaac Romero

Romero struggled to meet expectations in 2024/25, finishing with four goals and two assists, worse numbers than the prior campaign when he made 17 fewer appearances. While he stayed healthy, his production lagged behind strike partner Dodi Lukebakio, raising questions about his role heading into the new campaign. Combined with a red card, Romero didn't start a match the final month of last season. Along with the addition of Alfonso Gonzalez, it wouldn't be surprising if Romero's minutes took a hit, meaning improved production is far from a certainty.
