Cardona assisted once to go with one cross (zero accurate) and two chances created in Saturday's 5-1 loss versus Marseille.

Cardona has been loaned to Saint-Etienne from Augsburg until the end of the season after terminating his loan at Espanyol, his parent club announced. "Irvin actively approached us and expressed his desire to return to Saint-Etienne, where he felt very comfortable and showed strong performances. The opportunity to make this move in the winter has now arisen at short notice thanks to Espanyol's willingness. We wish Irvin every success for the rest of the season and at his old stomping ground," said Augsburg's sporting director Marinko Jurendic.

Cardona scored a goal to go with one shot (one on goal) in Saturday's 3-1 win over Celta Vigo.

Cardona has been loaned to Espanyol from Augsburg, according to his parent club.
