Pena saw decent minutes in the early stages of the season after Marc-Andre ter Stegen got injured, but he committed a few costly mistakes and ended up losing the starting role to Wojciech Szczesny. The Polish goalkeeper has been outstanding this season and ter Stegen is back in the mix, so Pena will remain as the No. 3 goalkeeper until further notice.
