Taken off due to fatigue
Ekdal was taken off the field in Saturday's match due to fatigue, as assistant manager Craig Bellamy stated, "He's fine though. It's just that he hasn't played the games over the past few months, so I think that took its toll," per Matt Scrafton of the Burnley Express.
