Synchuk (Not Injury-Related) is out for Saturday's season opener against Atlanta, according to the MLS injury report.

Synchuk has joined Montreal from Metalist Kharkiv on an Initiative U22 contract through 2028 with an option for 2029, the club announced. "We are very pleased to welcome this young player with high potential to our club. In a role behind the striker, he is a dynamic offensive player with very good technique who has the skills to make a difference in the final third. Hennadii can make the final pass, score and eliminate defenders. We want to place him in the best possible conditions so that he integrates well into the group. We are convinced that he will bring a different dimension to our attack," said club president Gabriel Gervais.
