Blind proved to be a solid leader in the back line once more for Girona in 2024/25, logging heavy minutes (31 starts, eight clean sheets) and anchoring the defense with his intelligence and distribution. The Dutch defender doesn't rely on speed but still made a big impact thanks to his reading of the game. With added competition in defense, he may rotate more in 2025/26, but his experience keeps him in the picture. Even if his minutes dip, Blind should remain a reliable starter in big games and a steady presence for the Catalan side.
