Metcalfe (calf) has a chance to play during Saturday's trip to Mainz, according to manager Alexander Blessin.

Metcalfe has been fully training again but suffered a blow to his calf on Wednesday during training. Coach Alexander Blessin provided an update in a press conference, stating, "Connor has been training fully again, but yesterday he took a blow to his calf. He is on the right track, but we had to take him out today. I think he will be able to fully join the team in the next two weeks."

Metcalfe (leg) is unlikely to be available for Saturday's match against Augsburg but has trained normally with the team in recent days, coach Alexander Blessin said in a press conference. "Connor took part in the first two parts of team training yesterday and today. That was applauded by the team. It's nice that he has taken the next step. It's a great feeling knowing that he will be back soon, without me wanting to put any pressure on him."

Metcalfe (leg) will be unavailable for Wednesday's match against Bochum, the club announced. "Blessin will also have to continue to do without Connor Metcalfe."
