Brad Guzan
40-Year-Old
Atlanta United
MLS
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Guzan is back for another season in net at the age of 40 after signing an extension in 2024. The longtime veteran is coming off a mediocre season, starting 32 matches while notching five clean sheets, 44 goals conceded and 111 saves. It was a tale of two halves for the goalkeeper, much like previous seasons, notching four clean sheets, 18 goals conceded and 52 saves through the first half of the season compared to one clean sheet, 26 goals conceded and 59 saves in the second half. If he can continue that success throughout an entire season, he could return to one of the top names in the league, registering double-digit clean sheets in three different MLS seasons. Either way, he seems destined to see a lot of save opportunities again in 2025 behind this Atlanta back line.

Zero saves in draw
Guzan made no saves and allowed two goals in Saturday's 2-2 draw against Seattle Sounders FC.
ANALYSIS
Guzan did not register a save Saturday and conceded two second half Seattle goals as Atlanta played to a 2-2 draw versus Seattle. After missing a match earlier this month due to a facial injury, the veteran has allowed seven goals across his last three starting appearances while making seven saves and two clearances. Guzan will look For improved results when Atlanta returns to league play Aug. 9th in a matchup at Montreal.
