Rouault is still recovering from an ankle injury he suffered in training last week and will not be available for Sunday's match against Lille. He remains also a doubt for next friday's game against Reims, as coach Habib Beye confirmed in the press conference. "Anthony is injured, suffering from a sprained ankle, and is currently in the treatment and recovery phase. We have no visibility regarding his fitness for the next match against Reims."

Rouault (undisclosed) picked up a knock in training and was forced to train individually afterward, making him questionable for Saturday's game against Saint-Etienne, coach Habib Beye said in the press conference.

Rouault has signed with Rennes from Stuttgart until 2029, the club announced. "We are very happy that Anthony is joining us because he is a player who has great defensive qualities, thanks to his speed, his aggressiveness and his ability to restart. Despite his young age, he already has great high-level experience after his successful stint in the Bundesliga, but also in the Champions League, a competition in which he played seven matches this season. He already knows the French championship, which is an advantage that is not insignificant. Rouault had one shot (zero on goal) in Saturday's 2-1 loss versus Monchengladbach.

Rouault has served his one-match suspension in the UCL.
