Cornelius came off the bench and delivered the killer blow in the final minute of stoppage time. The long range effort from Mohamed Elyounoussi was blocked on the edge of the box, allowing him to react the quickest to the loose ball and sweep a low finish past Luiz Junior to give the victory to Copenhagen. In his short time on the pitch he provided classic centre forward play, contesting aerial balls and pinning defenders to give Copenhagen a way up the field.
