Fatawu sustained an injury with Ghana and has returned to Leicester for assessment, according to his team.
ANALYSIS
Fatawu left the team's match against Angloa due to injuries, leading to his eventual withdrawal from the team. He has yet to receive a further update, likely waiting until with his club. He has started in their past three matches, so this will force a change if he misses time, with Odsonne Edouard as a likely replacement.

Fatawu didn't play in the 5-2 loss to Manchester United in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday due to a groin injury, manager Steve Cooper told media Thursday. "Abdul was not available for the game last night through a groin [issue]. We had a few enforced changes last night but just because we went one way last night, it doesn't mean we won't go a certain way at the weekend," Cooper said. "We're waiting on a scan. Unfortunately, he picked up a little bit of pain in his groin in the build-up to United. It certainly ruled him out of that game. We'll see what the scan shows."
