Seeks first UFC win in Rio
BantamweightUFC
September 24, 2025
Oliveira will take on Luan Lacerda in a bantamweight bout at UFC Rio on Oct. 11, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Oliveira just got back into the Octagon somewhat recently, losing to David Martinez back in March in a bout that represented his first UFC action since 2023. His next opponent Lacerda, meanwhile, hasn't fought since 2023 and sits at 0-2 in the UFC. Both fighters will be looking for their first win in the promotion.

Remains winless in UFC
BantamweightUFC
March 29, 2025
Oliveira lost to David Martinez via TKO (strikes) at 4:38 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Mexico City.
ANALYSIS
It was a predictable outcome given Oliveira had swelled to a +500 underdog, the largest on the entire card, by the time this one kicked off. Giving up far too much to the debuting Martinez in terms of speed and power, Oliveira got blitzed with a right hook and a knee which essentially ended his evening in an instant. Referee Marc Goddard finally and mercifully pulled the plug. The 33-year-old Brazilian earned his UFC opportunity with a win on Dana White's Contender Series back in September 2021, but he has failed to earn a victory in each of his three official bouts with the company. Oliveira will almost certainly be released as opposed to being handed a fourth opportunity.
Facing debutant next
BantamweightUFC
January 7, 2025
Oliveira will fight David Martinez at UFC Mexico on March 29, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Oliveira has been kept on the sidelines since losing to Daniel Marcos nearly two years ago. With an 0-2 record three years into his UFC tenure, another loss to a debuting Martinez in March would certainly put Oliveira's future with the promotion in serious doubt.
Finished in UFC 283 opener
BantamweightUFC
January 21, 2023
Oliveira lost to Daniel Marcos via KO (strikes) at 2:18 of Round 2 at UFC 283 on Saturday in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
ANALYSIS
It's a crushing defeat for Oliveira in a fight in which he entered as a -140 favorite. After a fairly even opening frame, Oliveira got caught with a kick which forced him up against the fence at which point a pair of knees put him away for good. The 31-year-old Brazilian earned his UFC opportunity with a split decision win on Dana White's Contender Series in September 2021. He has since gone on to lose each of his first two official bouts with the company. It's far from a guarantee he receives a third chance.
Facing Marcos Jan. 21
BantamweightUFC
December 12, 2022
Oliveira (undisclosed) will take on Daniel Marcos at UFC 283 on Jan. 21, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Oliveira will be in the Octagon nearly a year since his last fight against Tony Gravely when he fell by unanimous decision. Marcos will be making his debut with the promotion after earning a contract back in September.
Removed from UFC 275
BantamweightUFC
May 1, 2022
Oliveira will no longer be taking on Kyung Ho Kang at UFC 275 on June 11, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
No explanation was provided for the sudden removal from the card. Kang will ultimately remain on the card, facing Batgerel Danaa instead.
