Taps out to Jimmy Crute
Light HeavyweightUFC
July 19, 2025
Prachnio lost to Jimmy Crute via submission (armbar) at 4:42 of Round 1 at UFC 318 on Saturday in New Orleans.
ANALYSIS
Prachnio has some pop in his hands, but he's also displayed extremely questionable submission defense over the course of his career, particularly of late. He gave up three takedowns to Crute on six attempts in less than a round, including the armbar which put him away with just a handful of seconds remaining in the opening frame. Prachnio just turned 37 years of age and has lost three of his last four fights, all via submission. There's a non-zero chance his roster spot could be in jeopardy.

Facing Crute in July
Light HeavyweightUFC
May 21, 2025
Prachnio will take on Jimmy Crute in a light heavyweight bout at UFC 318 on July 19, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Prachnio is sitting at 4-6 in the promotion and is coming off a loss to Modestas Bukauskas in his last fight. He needs a win, but perhaps not more than his opponent Crute, who hasn't won since 2020 and is winless in his last five outings. This should be an interesting fight between two relatively desperate fighters.

Prachnio lost to Modestas Bukauskas via submission (arm-triangle choke) at 3:12 of Round 3 at UFC 304 on Saturday in Manchester, England.
ANALYSIS
This was a completely winnable fight for Prachnio, and he's going to be kicking himself following the end result. Marcin looked quite lousy the vast majority of the bout but managed to severely wobble Bukauskas in each of the final two rounds. Unfortunately for Prachnio, Modestas was able to force him to the mat immediately in both instances, and he was never able to get back to his feet. The very definition of roster depth and now 36 years of age, Prachnio has now alternated losses and wins in his last six fights dating back to June 2021.

ANALYSIS
Prachnio began his 2024 by defeating Devin Clark via unanimous decision back in February. The former has his chance to go 2-0 this year and will not need to go far to log his second consecutive win.
Gets right back in win column
Light HeavyweightUFC
February 10, 2024
Prachnio defeated Devin Clark via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Known as a one-dimensional striker with durability issues, Prachnio ended up easily pulling the upset of Clark despite entering as a +185 underdog. He stuffed the only two takedown attempts from his opponent, which allowed him to remain standing and thus finish with a 112-53 edge in terms of total strikes landed. He never had Clark in any real trouble in terms of earning the finish, but Prachnio also never found himself in any trouble from a defensive standpoint. The 35-year-old has alternated wins and losses in his past five bouts.
