Bounces back against Lee
Aldrich defeated Andrea Lee via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) at UFC Vegas 103 on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Aldrich entered this fight as a betting favorite in the neighborhood of (-200) and did exactly what she was supposed to, handing Lee her sixth consecutive UFC loss. In what was mostly a stand-up affair, Aldrich got the best of the significant striking numbers in all three rounds, and she was also credited with a takedown in Rounds 1 and 3 to boot. A win over Lee proves little these days, but Aldrich has quietly won three of her last four fights.

Targeted for March 1
Aldrich is targeted to compete against Andrea Lee in a flyweight fight at the UFC Apex's March 1 event, per Mike Heck of MMAFighting.com.
ANALYSIS
Aldrich will try to redeem herself after losing to Veronica Hardy in St. Louis on May 11. At the very least, Aldrich is not on a losing streak like Lee, who has lost each of her last five fights.

Sees brief winning streak end
Aldrich lost to Veronica Hardy via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in St. Louis.
ANALYSIS
It was a case of too little, too late for Aldrich, who dropped the first two rounds on all three scorecards and needed a stoppage to emerge victorious. In Aldrich's defense, all three frames were quite close. She did secure 5:09 worth of control time but did stunningly little with her positional advantage, allowing Hardy to earn the win on the heels of a 69-38 edge in total strikes landed. Set to turn 32 years of age in July, Aldrich is 3-3 in her past half-dozen bouts dating back to March 2022. She's the very definition of roster depth.

Draws Hardy in St. Louis
Aldrich will take on Veronica Hardy in a flyweight matchup at UFC St. Louis on May 11th, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Aldrich has won back-to-back fights and five of her last seven overall, so this is potentially an opportunity for her to break into the rankings at 125 pounds. She'll look to do so against Hardy, who last competed in December nad picked up her second-straight decision victory. Aldrich has slight height and reach advantages, in addition to the edge in volume striking.

Takes decision in Vegas opener
Aldrich defeated Montana De La Rosa via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Clearly hoping to keep this fight on the feet in hopes of damaging De La Rosa with her boxing game, Aldrich was essentially gifted a victory here after Montana went for just a single takedown over the course of the 15-minute bout. JJ actually lost the total strike battle by a 70-66 count, but there's zero doubt she landed the more impactful strikes the duration of the fight. This one was not particularly close. The 31-year-old Colorado native has rebounded nicely from back-to-back defeats, getting past De La Rosa and Na Liang in the span of the past six weeks.
