Comes up short despite late push
StrawweightUFC
August 17, 2025
Andrade lost to Lupita Godinez via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC 319 on Saturday in Chicago, Illinois.
ANALYSIS
The stat line would tell you that Andrade had the winning formula, as she stuffed 13 of 14 takedowns. She was a bit too hesitant earlier, however, allowing Godinez to leap out in front. The former strawweight champion poured on the offense after "Loopy" got tired, but the finish she needed never materialized. While it wasn't a bad showing, it's clear that Andrade can't quite bully opponents the way she used to. This, combined with the fact that wrestling has all but disappeared from her offensive game, will likely make wins difficult to come by moving forward. Andrade falls to 26-15-0 in professional MMA as a result of the loss.

Andrade will face off against Lupita Godinez at UFC 319 on August 16, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Andrade, who lost her most recent bout against Jasmine Jasudavicius in May, will look to get back on track against Lupita Godinez in August. The 33-year-old Brazilian fighter carries a 17-12 record during her nearly 12-year UFC career.
Not competitive in Montreal loss
StrawweightUFC
May 10, 2025
Andrade lost to Jasmine Jasudavicius via submission (rear-naked choke) at 2:40 of Round 1 at UFC 315 on Saturday in Montreal.
ANALYSIS
We've seen some really bad performances from Andrade in recent years, but this is unquestionably right near the top of the list. Entering as a +230 underdog, Jessica gave up a shockingly easy takedown to Jasudavicius and showed zero resistance on the mat, getting peppered with unanswered blows before Jasmine switched it up and choked her out. Jasudavicius is a solid fighter, but at 36 years old, she is three years older than Andrade. One would think Jessica would have put up more of a fight. The former champ has now lost two straight and is just 2-5 in her past seven bouts dating back to February 2023.
Taking on Jasudavicius
StrawweightUFC
February 24, 2025
Andrade will take on Jasmine Jasudavicius in a Strawweight bout UFC 315 on May 10 in Montreal, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Andrade is extensively experienced in the UFC, with a 17-11 record in the promotion. However, she's in the midst of a rough stretch, losing four of her last six and most recently falling at the hands of Natalia Silva back in September. Jasudavicius, meanwhile, has won four straight and is has cruised through her UFC competition since 2023. Andrade surrenders six inches of height and seven inches of reach to Jasudavicius.
Inconsistent ways continue

September 7, 2024
Andrade lost to Natalia Silva via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
The very definition of a gatekeeper at this stage of her career, Andrade was put in this position to help elevate a rising star in Silva, and she filled her role to protection. Jessica attempted to remain aggressive, but the overwhelming speed and technical edge of Natalia resulted in Andrade finding herself on the short end of a 119-62 disadvantage in terms of total strikes landed. Andrade has been vocal about losing a good chunk of money for multiple reasons in her personal life, and that has led to her fighting too often and taking bouts she probably shouldn't. Jessica would be wise to pick and choose her spots a bit better, but that's never been her style and remains highly unlikely to change in the latter stages of her career. The Brazilian is just 2-4 in her past half dozen bouts dating back to February 2023. On the bright side, she'll walk away with a $50,000 bonus after this exciting bout was awarded Fight of the Night honors.
Taking on Silva in September
StrawweightUFC
June 27, 2024
Andrade is slated to fight Natalia Silva at the UFC event in Las Vegas on September 7, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Andrade will take on Silva coming off back-to-back wins over Marina Rodriguez and Mackenzie Dern, respectively. The veteran Andrade, who owns a 17-10 record in UFC, will be challenged with the younger Silva, who owns a perfect 5-0 record in UFC and will come into the bout riding an 11-fight win streak across promotions dating back to 2018. "Bate Estaca" will look to use her experience in the Octagon to overcome a size and reach disadvantage to turn back the clock on what has been a storied MMA career.
