Marshall will face Austin Bashi in a featherweight bout at UFC Vegas 108 on Aug. 2, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Marshall currently sits at 2-3 in the UFC coming off a loss at the hands of Marion Santos via split decision back in March. He'll look to even his record in the promotion against a fighter in Bashi who's coming off a loss in his first UFC bout. Marshall has three inches of height and two inches of reach on his opponent.

Marshall lost to Mairon Santos via split decision (28-29, 30-27, 28-29) at UFC 313 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
This one is going to be talked about for quite a while. Entering as a +200 underdog, Marshall looked fantastic, and it appeared for all the world as if he deserved the decision. He was responsible for what was by far the biggest moment of the night with a Round 1 knockdown, and while the final two frames were close, Marshall likely got the better of both frames. Francis recently moved from New Jersey to Florida to join American Top Team full time, and the improvements were obvious despite the result. Hopefully the UFC gives him another shot despite the fact he is now sporting a 1-3 record in his last four fights dating back to April 2023.

Marshall will fight Mairon Santos at UFC 313 on March 8, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Marshall took home a win over Dennis Buzukja in his most recent fight despite spending a full year on the sidelines leading up to the event. He'll now look to string together back-to-back victories for the first time in his UFC career, which could be easier said than done against Santos, who is 14-1 in professional MMA.

Marshall defeated Dennis Buzukja via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Sidelined for more than a year and entering have lost back-to-back fights, Marshall deserves a ton of credit for accepting this fight just days ago and emerging victorious. He likely would have been cut if he came up short. Francis came out on fire, pinning Buzukja up against the cage nearly the entirety of Round 1. He landed a huge knockdown early in Round 2 before seeing his gas tank quickly empty -- understandable given the circumstances. Thankfully for Marshall, two of the three judges felt he did enough early on to win the fight. Still just 25 years of age, Francis' UFC run should continue with this victory.
Steps in to face Buzukja

Marshall will take on Dennis Buzukja in a lightweight bout at UFC Vegas 96 on Aug. 24, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Marshall will step in on short notice to take on Buzukja, who was initially slated to fight Danny Silva. This creates a match in which both fighters are 1-2-0 in the UFC and seeking a much-needed win in the promotion. Marshall, however, has lost two straight, while his opponent Buzukja is coming off a victory over Connor Matthews in March.
