Michael Eyssimont

Michael Eyssimont

28-Year-Old CenterC
Tampa Bay Lightning
2024 Fantasy Outlook
In his first full season with the Lightning, Eyssimont was finally able to secure a permanent spot in the lineup, playing in 81 regular-season contests. He set new personal bests with 11 goals, 14 assists and four power-play points. The tenacious forward should be in contention for a second-line role this upcoming campaign but will have to produce at a higher level to maintain it - especially with veterans Cam Atkinson and Conor Sheary no doubt looking for more ice time. Still, as long as Eyssimont can keep his spot with the No. 2 power-play unit, he should be capable of topping the career-best 25 points he put up last year. Read Past Outlooks

Finds twine again
CTampa Bay Lightning
December 1, 2024
Eyssimont scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Maple Leafs.
ANALYSIS
Eyssimont is quickly turning things around, scoring all three of his goals this season over the last four games. He's up to four points, 45 shots on net, 25 hits, 26 PIM and a minus-1 rating through 22 appearances. Eyssimont figures to fill a slightly larger role while the Lightning are missing some of their regular wingers -- all of Nikita Kucherov, Nick Paul and Mitchell Chaffee were sidelined with undisclosed injuries Saturday. Outside of deep banger leagues, Eyssimont doesn't have much long-term appeal.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Eyssimont will join Nick Paul and Tanner Jeannot on the Bolts' third line in 2023-24. He won't deliver in traditional categories but should give you 150 each of hits and shots, maybe more. That is, if he sticks with the team the full season. Eyssimont had just one NHL game under his belt before last season, and the 26-year-old rookie jumped between three NHL teams in 2022-23. He needs to perform, or his spot will be given to someone else. Given he shot just a hair over four percent last season, there is some room for growth if he can increase his shot volume.
