SLATE PREVIEW
Anaheim and Seattle both played Monday, so fatigue might be a factor working against those two squads. Dallas and San Jose are entering the first half of a back-to-back set, which might influence their lineup decisions tonight.
GOALIES
Jeremy Swayman, BOS at SEA ($7,800): Swayman has won his past two starts while turning aside 65 of 69 shots (.942 save percentage). That's boosted him to a 16-10-2 record, 2.80 GAA and .905 save percentage in 29 appearances on the season. Seattle ranks 30th in goals per game with 2.62, so this is a favorable matchup.
Ilya Sorokin, NYI vs. NJD: Sorokin is set to make his first start since returning from a lower-body injury. He's had a solid campaign with a 2.55 GAA and a .910 save percentage in 24 outings. Sorokin earned a 3-2 overtime victory over New Jersey on Nov. 10, kicking out 33 of 35 shots.
VALUE PLAYS
Mason Marchment, CLM at SJS ($5,000): Marchment has five goals and seven points across his past seven appearances. The Sharks have struggled defensively, ranking 31st in goals allowed per game with 3.54, so this is a solid night to take Columbus skaters.
Bobby McMann, TOR vs. FLA ($4,900): McMann is red hot with four goals and eight points in his past eight outings. It helps that McMann is projected to play alongside Auston Matthews on Tuesday.
Pavol Regenda, SJS vs. CLM ($3,700): Regenda has managed five goals in four outings with the Sharks this season, including a hat trick Saturday. Obviously, he isn't going to keep that up, but he is projected to play on the second line and second power-play unit tonight, which isn't bad for a forward at his salary. Combine that with how hot he is, and Regenda's worth taking a chance on.
FORWARD LINE STACKS
Hurricanes vs. Stars
Sebastian Aho (C - $6,900), Andrei Svechnikov (W - $5,700), Nikolaj Ehlers (W - $5,600)
Ehlers is going into tonight's action amid a three-game goal-scoring streak. That run has pushed him up to 11 goals and 31 points in 42 appearances in 2025-26. He's a great value option, and his linemates are terrific picks as well. Svechnikov has 12 goals and 31 points in 42 outings, including five goals and 13 points in his past 10 appearances. Meanwhile, Aho has been the highlight of this line, supplying 17 goals and 42 points in 42 games this year, including eight goals and 16 points over his last 10 appearances.
Sharks vs. Blue Jackets
Macklin Celebrini (C - $8,000), Igor Chernyshov (W - $6,000), William Eklund (W - $5,800)
Celebrini has been among the league's top scorers this campaign with 22 goals and 63 points in 41 appearances this season, which has already matched his 63-point total from his 2024-25 rookie campaign. He's showing no signs of slowing after providing seven goals and 20 points across his last 10 outings.
He headlines the Sharks' next generation, but he's hardly the only forward of promise they have. His linemate, Chernyshov, has looked good too. The 20-year-old has three goals and eight points in eight outings with the Sharks to go along with 11 goals and 23 points in 25 outings with AHL San Jose this season. The 23-year-old Eklund rounds out the line with 10 goals and 26 points in 37 appearances, including two goals and four points over his past four games.
DEFENSEMEN
Zach Werenski, CLM at SJS ($7,800): Werenski missed four games due to a lower-body injury, but he's been making up for lost time, supplying a goal and four points over two outings since returning. He's up to 15 goals and 44 points through 37 outings in 2025-26.
Miro Heiskanen, DAL at CAR ($6,800): Heiskanen has seven goals and 36 points in 42 appearances this season, putting him on pace to have his best campaign since his 73-point regular season in 2022-23. Heiskanen has collected seven assists across his past eight appearances.
Denton Mateychuk, CLM at SJS ($5,000): Mateychuk is on an incredible run with two goals and nine points across his last seven appearances. He's up to eight goals and 21 points in 40 outings this campaign.
