2025 Fantasy Outlook
Woods has been a key member of every defense he's been a part of. He logged a career-best 119 total tackles with the Panthers in 2024 and topped 1,000 snaps for the second time in his career. That made it something of a surprise that he was able to land just a two-year, $10 million contract with the Titans in the offseason, but he'll be tasked with stabilizing a unit that struggled in 2024 and will pair with another steady contributor in Amani Hooker as the safety duo in Tennessee. So long as he remains healthy, expect Woods to rack up tackles. Read Past Outlooks
Dealing with ankle injury
Woods was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury.
ANALYSIS
Woods may have picked up the injury during the Titans' Week 7 loss to the Patriots, when he played 43 of 65 defensive snaps (66.2 percent) and logged four tackles (one solo), including 1.0 sacks. The veteran safety will have two more opportunities to increase his practice participation and avoid an injury designation heading into Sunday's AFC South clash against the Colts.

Woods has started all 29 games that he's appeared in since signing with the Panthers in 2022, recording 147 tackles and 13 passes defended, including two interceptions, during that time. He saw almost 200 fewer defensive snaps in 2023 versus one year prior, and with the team adding both Nick Scott and Jordan Fuller in free agency, his time in Carolina could be coming to an end after this year. If Woods' production continues to dwindle, he may continue losing playing time as the season goes on.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Set to miss time
Woods could miss between four and six weeks due to a hamstring injury, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The safety was forced to leave Sunday's loss to the Seahawks after only 16 snaps, and Woods could be in line for an extended absence. That's bad news for a Carolina secondary that is already missing cornerback Jaycee Horn, who was placed on injured reserve with a hamstring injury following Week 1. Rookie Jammie Robinson could be in line to take over at free safety in Woods' absence.
